ODU Green Lot Tailgate Party Paces Football Win

 Well, it seems the better the tailgate, the better the team plays, or so we like to think it. This week's tailgate was a salute to Carolina and Campbell U, with BBQ being the theme, Carolina style.

Ribs, pork chops, chopped BBQ, coleslaw, baked beans, mac and cheese and chicken, all featuring the goodness of Carolina.

Tailgate 2, Saturday the 15th, Carolina BBQ Theme

 ODU vs Campbell Saturday September 15th

 The second Mike Byers(ODU Basketball Great) Green Lot Tailgate Party is set for this Saturday the 15th, gates to the lot open at 5pm. The Monarchs will be playing the Campbell Camels for North Carolina, so in respects for our next victim, we will be honoring them with a good old fashion Carolina BBQ Tailgate.

 Everyone is welcome, please bring beer, as you can never have enough, and your arm ready for 5 sets of corn hole boards running at the same time. As always, beer pong will be featured and the Chuggler is always there!!

Now, lets get that mouth watering for some good old fashion Southern style Carolina BQQ!!!

TAIL GATE 1, SEPTEMBER 1ST

 The first tail gate of the year was a huge success!! There was no less than 120 people with our group, in perfect weather, and 8 tail gate spots.

 The line for the lot formed at 12pm, and the lot opened at 2pm..here is 12:30pm's picture:

 The theme of the day was "Bring Your Best Burger" and many accepted the challenge! Here are some pictures of the Tail gate and the Burgers....enjoy:

Thanks to one of great tail gate owners, he put together a nice picture of everything he and his family were wearing and needing for an official ODU Tail Gate and Game, we need to step our games up now!!

And yes, we do go to the game, and after a shaky start, we pulled away for another victory, and our march to a national championship!!!
